Editorial policy

Source-backed guidance with the safety boundary left intact.

RAMSCloud publishes practical information to help competent people understand and prepare their work. It is not a substitute for professional advice or assessment of the actual job.

Primary sources first

Safety and legal statements are checked against current official sources, principally HSE and legislation.gov.uk, rather than copied from other software or template websites.

No automatic-compliance claims

Guidance and software are described as decision support. We do not claim that a template, score, export or product action proves a document is safe, approved or legally compliant.

Project-specific review

Reusable examples are clearly treated as starting points. Readers are reminded to consider the real task, site, people, equipment, substances and changing conditions.

Visible review dates

Guides show when they were checked. Dates are changed only when the content or source review has genuinely been updated.

Corrections over quiet edits

Material corrections should be reflected in the guide and, where necessary, in the product rules or library source record that relied on the same information.

Core public sources

Each guide lists the sources relevant to its claims. These are the principal collections used across the knowledge centre.
